Teacher in charge of Golf, Mr Brendon Cooley, has been away in Christchurch with the HBHS team this week, and filed the following report:
WHILE THE BIG GUNS ARE AWAY THE JUNIORS COME TO PLAY!
The top golf side travelled down to Christchurch to compete in the National Secondary Final and under-performed. We finished 7th in New Zealand but all the golfers were disappointed in their individual performance. The highlight was Ben Murray, our 4th ranked golfer, shooting the best score of round one with a 77. The boys are currently playing the Under 19 age group championship with Denzel Ieremia 11th and Bayley Waudby 18th with one round to go. (Article cont)
