After three events in the 2014 House Competition, things are tight at the top and there is definitely some work to do for the bottom placed Houses if they are going to catch the leaders. First is Tait on 26 points, followed by Taylor in second place with 25 points. Wilson is third with 19 points, Baigent is fourth with 15 points and Argyle is in fifth place with 10 points. Coming in last is Steel House on 8 points. There are two more opportunities for House points this term, with the Cricket competition in Weeks 6 and 7, and the Volleyball competition in Weeks 9 and 10. Go Steel! We can do it! (The last two statements are completely biased and absolutely reflect the House that the Publications Manager is in).

House Points Update and Tournament Week
House Points Update
The Indoor Rowing house competition was held in Week 5. Each house rowed a distance of 2500m with seniors and juniors combined in the same team. Argyle won the competition after a close battle with Baigent and Wilson took third place.
This increased Argyle’s lead in the overall House Competition by 17 points, closely followed by Taylor and Steel.
House singing is the only house competition event left this term. Being a major event, it counts for double points. In Term 4, the service points will be tallied and the touch competition will be held in Week 2.
