Winter Tournament Week Day 2 Results

The wins keep on coming in the early stages of Tournament Week, with the HBHS Junior Basketball team sweeping all before them.  The team beat St Peters 86 - 51, Birkenhead College 94 - 44 and Tauranga Boys' College by a massive 105 - 34.  The team meet Otumoetai College in the quarter-finals at 2.15pm.  The Under 14 Rugby team had a very tough match against Gisborne Boys' High School, finishing with a 5 all draw.  It was much smoother for the Under 15 Rugby team who beat Rotorua Boys' High School 18 - 9.  The HBHS Table Tennis team won all of their grading games and have made it through to the A grade for the first time.  The Badminton team had a comprehensive 6 - 0 win over Verdin College, and the Under 16 Rugby Quad team ground out a 5 - 3 win over St Paul's Collegiate in very wet conditions.  Finally, the HBHS 1st XI Hockey team had a good 5 - 2 win over New Plymouth Boys' High School, but the 2nd XI lost 1 - 0 to Hutt Valley High School.  More results as soon as they come to hand.
