Weekly Winter Sport Round Up

In our new regular feature, we will check in on how our Premier Winter Sports teams have been faring and preview upcoming matches.

Our Senior Premier Basketball team are coming off a big 101 - 46 win over Cambridge High School, and have two upcoming matches.  Tonight at 6pm they play Tauranga Boys' College in the HBHS Gym and face New Plymouth Boys' High School at 9am tomorrow 26 May.

The Football 1st XI put the Bethlehem College 1st XI away 5 - 0 and face St Peter's Cambridge tomorrow 26 May at 8am at St Peter's School in Cambridge.  They will contest the Auckland Grammar Exchange next Wednesday 30 May on the HBHS Number 1 field at 10:45am.

The 1st XI Hockey team won the Matthew Allen Cup in a scrappy 1 - 0 win in dire winter conditions on Wednesday, and they will contest their Auckland Grammar exchange match on Monday 28 May at 11am at the Gallaghers Turf.  They will then face St Peter's Cambridge on Wednesday 30 May at 6:30pm at the Gallaghers Turf.

Our 1st XV Rugby side beat St Peter's Cambridge last Saturday 48 - 5 at HBHS and they have a Super 8 Match against Tauranga Boys' College on Saturday 26 May at 12noon on the HBHS Number 1 field.

We wish all of our teams the best of luck and hope to see as many HBHS supporters as possible on the sidelines to cheer them on.  This weekend we recommend multiple layers and waterproof gear.  See you at the game!
