Trophy stays put as HBHS keeps winning

The top three rugby teams all had wins at home today in clear, crisp conditions on fields that had held up remarkably well after a week of heavy rain.  The HBHS 1st XV kept the Moascar Cup safely in Hamilton with a 43 - 10 win over their fellow Chiefs Cup finalists, Rotorua Boys' High School, with the home side running in seven tries.  On the back fields the results were much tighter, with the HBHS 2nd XV battling their way to a 13 - 6 win over Rotorua Boys' High School 2nd XV.  Finally, the 3rd XV (pictured, right) again had to come from behind, with a 12 - 10 win over Matamata College 1st XV after trailing 10 - 5 at half time.  Congratulations to all of the teams.
