The Golf Report

HBHS fielded a team of 28 in the annual Waikato Teams Golf Day. The competition was an Ambrose format where players all tee off and take the best ball, with the only rule being you must use three tee shots from each player. Tyler Wood led his team to a score of 59 (13 under) to win by one shot over Piopio College for the third year in a row. Tyler was well supported by Cullen Aislabie, Leo Ko and Deco Pharanhok. The boys retained the trophy for the third year in a row and collected a $50 voucher to spend at The Base (Mums should be spoilt this Sunday!). Five out of the seven teams collected gift vouchers  for finishing 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th. Overall it was a great day with a great bunch of students.
