Term 3 Sporting Honours

During the Senior Assembly on 27 September, we awarded the following students their Sporting Honours for their achievements in their various codes.  Once again we congratulate them and wish them well in their upcoming events and competitions.  The Honours Awards recipients are as follows:

TERM THREE HONOURS AWARDS

Rugby:  1st XV

Representative First Team Award for playing 10 games for the 1st XV to Josh Lord.

Honours Cap for playing 25 games for the 1st XV to Brad McNaughten, Eli Mossop, Jonas Pomare, Brayden Porteous and Tane Te Aho.

 

Football:  1st XI

Representative First Team Award for playing 14 games for the 1st XI to Harry Christensen-Rose, Levi Clark, Avishak Kumar, Joel McMullan, Dilan Nanayakkara, Jacob Stevens and Quest Tipping.

Honours Cap for playing 50 games for the 1st XI to JohnLeo Caselli, John Clout, Shadrake Ngungambili, Harry Stocker, Luke Woolerton and Logan Wisnewski.

 

Hockey:  1st XI

Representative First Team Award for playing 14 games for the 1st XI to Wim Du Preez.

Honours Cap for playing 40 games for the 1st XI to Matthew Deller and Oliver Fulton.

 

Basketball:  Senior Premier

Representative First Team Award for playing 30 games for the Senior Premier team to Joshua Rush.

 

New Zealand Championship Award:  Swimming

Silver Award for the 4 x 50m Freestyle to Sam Ratima.

 

Silver Award for the Medley Relay to Logan Bigwood.

 

Silver Award for the Medley Relay and 4 x 50m Freestyle to Jaxyn Mihaka.

 

Bronze Award for the 200m Individual Medley, Silver Award for the Medley Relay and 4 x 50m Freestyle to Danyon Hardie.

 

Bronze Award for the 100m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke, Silver Award for the Medley Relay, 4 x 50m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly and 100m Backstroke, and Gold Award for the 200m Backstroke to Andrew Jeffcoat.

 

New Zealand Representative Awards

Honours Pocket Award in Softball for representing New Zealand in the Junior Under 19 team, August 2017 in Australia to Zac Pene.

 

Honours Pocket Award in BMX for representing New Zealand in the Under 19 team, July 2017 in the USA to Ryan Jordan.

 

Honours Pocket Award in Inline Hockey for representing New Zealand in the Under 19 team, September 2017 in China to Brandon Fletcher.
