Term 2 Honours Awards Assembly

At yesterday's Senior School Assembly, the Term 2 Sporting Honours were awarded and we proudly present the full list of recipients:

Rowing Senior Squad:  Representative First Team Award for selection in the Under 18 Eight for North Island Secondary School and New Zealand Secondary Schools Regattas to Finley Dellar, Matthew Handford, James Keeling, Johan Pio and Cameron Steedman.

Rowing Senior Squad:  Honours Cap for a second season in the Under 18 Eight for North Island Secondary School and New Zealand Secondary Schools Regattas to Kobi Abrahamson, Lucas Clarke, Matthew Deller and Reuben Houghton.

Rugby 1st XV Representative First Team Award for 10 games for the 1st XV to Elijah Cracknell, Kieran Lee, Austin Pepperell and Joe Vaka.

Rugby 1st XV Honours Cap for 25 games for the 1st XV to Patrick McCurran.

New Zealand Secondary Schools Championship Gold Honours Award on winning the New Zealand Secondary Schools Competition in April 2016 to the Inline Hockey Team of Dylan Coombes, Wynn Craven, Billy Graham, Jeremy Hamilton-Horne, Brad Kivell, Connor Robertson, Kealey Stark-Fisher, Kahurangi Te Huia and the Captain Jeremy Ashdown.

New Zealand Secondary Schools Championship Gold Honours Award on winning the New Zealand Secondary Schools Competition in April 2016 to the Ki-o-Rahi team of Lucas Baker, Koare Hudson, Ifor Jones, Taipohu Olliver-Samuels, Tyler Riki-Pahewa, Anthony Sinclair, Shaquille Sue-Waara, Te Oranga Tai-Rakena and Joshua Wirihana-Tawake.

New Zealand Representative Honours Pocket Award in Cross Country for representing New Zealand in the Secondary Schools team that competed in the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, in April 2016 in which he finished in 16th place (individual), 6th place (team) and was the second New Zealand athlete across the line to Isaiah Priddey.
