Super Saturday at HBHS this Queen's Birthday Weekend

This Saturday sees two of the biggest events on this year's school calendar taking place at HBHS.  First up is the Regional Kapa Haka Competition, taking place in Gym 1, with the doors opening at 8am and the first performance scheduled for 8.45am.  The entry fee is $5 payable on the door.  This is an exciting opportunity to see some of the best Kapa Haka performers in  New Zealand in action.  Contact Toti West twest@hbhs.school.nz for more information or see the notice on this website for details.  Then at 2.45pm, the HBHS 1st XV will take on Rotorua Boys' High School for the Chiefs Cup, with the Moascar Cup also on the line.  The Rugby Channel on Sky 064 will be broadcasting the match live, but supporters are most welcome and we encourage you to come along in HBHS red and black to cheer the team on.  It is important to note that there will be no public parking possible, so we advise visitors and supporters to plan for this and allow extra time to find parking spaces.  It is going to be a wonderful day, so we are all looking forward to seeing all of our HBHS families and friends at these events.  See you there!
