Hamilton Boys’ Super 8 Team have won the Super 8 Tennis Shield for a third consecutive year beating Tauranga Boys’ College by a set in the final. Luke Hamilton and Matthew Sheedy won their singles matches resulting in the tie being evenly balanced 2-2 on matches going into the doubles. Matthew Sheedy and Scott Johnson then won their doubles match in 3 sets 6/2 2/6 7/6. This meant Luke Hamilton and Jake McCartney only needed to win one set in their doubles match to clinch victory.
