Super 8 Football Final Results

The HBHS 1st XI Football team rallied on the final day to win their play-off for third and fourth place, after a loss to Tauranga Boys' College in the semi-final played yesterday.  The team went down 3 - 0, after both sides were scoreless at half time.  This meant facing off against Palmerston North Boys' High School this morning, and to their credit the team put aside their disappointment, and completely dominated the Palmerston North side, eventually winning 2 - 0, with the half time score 1 - 0.  Goal scorers were Lachie McIsaac and Donovan Latham.  The team were happy with their form in this last match, which sets them up for a possible Top 16 result in the upcoming National Championships.  Congratulations to the team on their results and we now look forward to their efforts in the Winter Tournament week in Term 3.
