Summer Tournament Week Results to Date

Our Junior Colts Cricket team have notched up two wins in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Tournament at Palmerston North, beating Hutt International College by 39 runs.  HBHS were bowled out for 90 and then went on to dismiss the Hutt International team for 51 runs.  They followed this up with a win over St Andrews Christchurch, bowling the St Andrews team out for 118 and then scoring 119 for the loss of 5 wickets.

The Ultimate Frisbee team have finished third in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Competition held in Taupo.  They started out with a 13 - 5 loss to Wellington College and lost again to Takapuna Grammar 12 - 11.  They came back against Wellington High School with a 13 - 11 win and notched up a very good win over the Auckland Grammar Number 2 team 13 - 8.  In the quarter final they went down to Westlake Boys' High School 13 - 5 but followed this up with another win over the Auckland Grammar Number 2 team 11 - 3 in the play-off for 5th to 8th.  They finished their tournament off with a win over Hutt Valley High School.

In the Northern Region New Zealand Secondary Schools Qualifying Tournament being held in Hamilton, our 1st XI Cricket team have won through to the semi-finals to face Tauranga Boys' College.  They began with a very good win over St Peter's Cambridge, setting a total of 286 for 6 and then bowling the St Peter's side out for exactly half that total to win by 143.  They then faced Hillcrest High School and bowled them out for 107 before reaching 108 for the loss of 4 wickets.

Finally, our Tennis team have found the competition very tough at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Tournament in Auckland, losing 6 - 0 to Auckland Grammar and by the same margin to Scots College Wellington.
