Stanford Pogai named in the New Zealand Under 17 Water Polo team

HBHS Year 13 Stanford Pogai has been named in the New Zealand Under 17 Water Polo team to tour Montenegro in July of this year.  The side will also be coached by HBHS Head Prefect of 2011 and water polo stalwart Rahiti Teokotai-White.  Stanford is a multi-talented athlete, having recently returned from the Aloha World Sevens series a champion after playing in the side coached by Tim Nanai-Williams and Liam Messam that snatched a dramatic last minute 24 - 22 win over the Samoan team.  We congratulate Stanford on these achievements, and ver much look forward to following his progress this year.  For more on Stanford, check out his interview here courtesy of Maori Television.
