Sports Results Round Up

Our HBHS sports teams and athletes have continued on their winning ways this past weekend, with our Ski and Snowboard team winning titles at the Waikato Secondary School Championships on Friday.  Robert Brodnax (Year 12) won the Giant Slalom Ski, Matthew Cranefield (Year 12) won the Giant Slalom Board event, with Seff Curle (Year 11) finishing in third place behind him and Daniel Gibson (Year 13) finished third in the Freestyle Board competition.  Our 1st XI Football team put away St Peter's school Cambridge in the first of the Knockout Cup semi-finals and now wait on the all HBHS semi-final between the 2nd and 3rd XI to see who they will face in the final.  On Saturday, our 1st XV took out Wesley College 36 - 0 to stay alive in the Chiefs Cup competition.  Congratulations to all of these teams and athletes on these results.
