Spirit Week 2017: Run For Life

Friday saw the return of the HBHS Run for Life, which was rescheduled after having to be abandoned at the end of Term 1 due to a storm.  Today saw students and staff run, walk and cycle the 6km track along the Waikato River as far as Cobham Drive before heading back to HBHS and heading off on a very well-earned break.  The school raised $7600 for the Kids Can Charity, and this money will go to children in need of the basics in our region.  We thank everyone who participated and donated, and offer a special thank you to Mr Pat Cheyne for his efforts in organising such a worthy and enjoyable event.
