Old Boys Enter Into School Spirit

The formal assembly on Wednesday was enlivened by the presence of two celebrated Old Boys - David Braithwaite, ex-Mayor of Hamilton, and Ron Wiberg, Former Chairman of Waikato Rugby. Mr Wiberg is the Chairman of the Hamilton High School Centennial Committee, and both men entered into the spirit of celebrating our 100th anniversary by wearing the current school uniform.  The students and staff were charmed, and Mr Braithwaite and Mr Wiberg grinned like school boys as they stood with the senior management team on the stage. They commented on the comfort of the uniforms, the positive reception by the boys, and the importance of the Centennial, which begins on Thursday.
