No end to the golden weather for HBHS athletes

During the weekend, a team of HBHS athletes headed across the Kaimais to compete in the Waikato Bay of Plenty Athletics championships, held at the Tauranga Domain.  The team finished the meet with an impressive 12 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze medals.  Stand-out performers were Jacob Priddey who won the John Walker trophy for winning the 1500m race, and Theunis Pieters who ran the 800m in 1.54 minutes, narrowly missing out on setting a new record.
