Junior Waterpolo team wins bronze medal

The HBHS Junior A Waterpolo team competed in the inaugural Dove Waterpolo Tournament held at Waterworld Te Rapa on Saturday 29 May and Sunday 30 May.  The team played against other teams from around the North Island, winning their games against a Westlake team (5 - 4) and Kristin School (8 - 1).  Unfortunately they lost to Aquinas College (10 - 5) leaving them second in their pool.  In the semi-final they faced Mount Maunganui College, losing 2 - 4 and played off for the bronze medal against Rangitoto College, winning 7 - 5.  Congratulations to the boys on their efforts and thanks and congratulations to Teacher in Charge of Waterpolo Mrs Christelle Cloete.
