Junior Waterpolo team just outside the medals at North Island Secondary Schools Tournament
Our HBHS A team took out 4th place at NIJSS. They were really pushing for a medal but didn't quite get there. This is by far the best result HBHS have had though and Callum is extremely pleased with them. The code is looking very strong for these next few years.
The top four teams were very hard to separate - Aquinas College, Westlake Boys, Sacred Heart and HBHS.
Oliver Houghton (pictured with his medal) was also named in the Tournament Team.
Callum has worked hard with these boys and it certainly showed. He's doing a great job as coach.
The boys behaved very well and represented HBHS to a high level throughout. It was a tiring four days, but really successful. Congratulations to the team on their efforts.
