Hockey teams win Midlands finals

HBHS Hockey teams were well-represented in season-ending finals matches this week, with five teams competing and two coming away with wins.  The HBHS 1st XI Hockey team beat arch-rivals St Paul's Collegiate 2 - 1 to win the Midlands Trophy and take this encouraging result away to the National Rankin Cup tournament in Auckland next week.  Our Development Hockey side had an excellent win over St John's College 1st XI 4 - 0 to win the Division B final this week as well, and we wish them all the very best of luck as they head to Blenheim to compete for the Galletly Cup along with our 2nd XI side.  Fingers crossed for an all-HBHS final!
