History made at HBHS

It was three from three for the HBHS top rugby teams this weekend, with two Super 8 titles won and a finals berth in the Waikato 1st XV Division 1 secured for next weekend. First up, the 2nd XV put Hastings Boys' High School 2nd XV away 37 - 5 to secure the Super 8 win. Next up, on the Number 1 field, the HBHS 3rd XV (pictured, right) eventually came away winners over Matamata College 1st XV 14 - 9, thus making history by getting through to the Division 1 finals for the first time ever. Finally, the HBHS 1st XV were far too strong for Hastings Boys' High School 1st XV, and the team rounded off the afternoon with a crushing 76 - 11 win, therefore retaining the Moascar Cup. Congratulations to all of these teams on their fine wins.
