Historic Winter Tournament Results for HBHS Teams

It was an extraordinary finish to the Under 14 Rugby Tournament in Hastings this afternoon, with HBHS and Tauranga Boys' College battling to a historic tied result, after extra time and a double penalty shoot-out couldn't separate the teams.  Each team had their chances, but a winner could not be found so the title of National Champion Under 14 Rugby team will be shared in 2014.  We look forward to bringing you an extended report of what must have been an incredible (and incredibly tense!) match to watch.

In another noteworthy result, the 1st XI Football team have guaranteed a Top 4 finish, and a place in the semi-finals against Westlake Boys' High School, after beating Nelson College 2 - 0 today.  We will update you as soon as results come to hand, as we head into the business end of Winter Tournament Week.
