HBHS win Waikato University Analytical Chemistry Competition

In what was described by Senior Lecturer Dr Michele Prinsep as "a near perfect" analysis, the HBHS team of Nicholaas Portegys, Adam Cameron, Ben Yeung and Daniel Carson have taken out the NZIC Year 13 Analytical Chemistry competition from 25 teams from the Waikato Bay of Plenty region.  This is the second year in a row that HBHS have won this competition, and to reinforce their dominance, an HBHS team comprised of Ross McDougal, Andrew Sledger, Alex Hartopeanu and Codi Merito finished in second place.  Congratulations to all of these students on their outstanding efforts in a very competitive academic field.
