HBHS win Waikato Squash Title

On Wednesday the 3rd of July, Hamilton Boys’ High School sent our three best squash players to compete in this one day event. The team progressed easily through the early stages of the tournament before facing St Peter’s College in the final. The team consisting of Angus MacDonald, Fergus McKinnon and Callum Burkes (Captain of Squash) played admirably and with great composure. Callum played one of his best matches to end up winning against a player graded much higher than him. They ended up winning 3 - 0 which secured us the overall win and the title of Waikato Secondary Schools Team Champion for the second consecutive year.
