HBHS win Waikato Intercollegiate Golf Championships

The beautiful greenstone National Provident Fund Trophy will be staying at HBHS for another year, as the HBHS Number 1 golf team (pictured, right) won the Waikato Intercollegiate Golf Tournament for the second year running, at Matamata yesterday. The team of Denzel Ieremia, Bayley Waudby, Callum Scott and Regan Kidd, won the Intercollegiate Championships by an incredible 15 shots over second placed St Peter's School of Cambridge. Captain of Golf, Denzel Ieremia was in typically fine form, shooting a five under round, after coming fifth in the Muruwai Open during the weekend. Congratulations to the team on such a comprehensive victory, and thanks to Teacher in Charge of Golf, Mr Brendon Cooley, for his continued support of HBHS Golf.
