HBHS win Under 15 Condor Sevens title

The Under 15 Sevens team went through day one with big wins over Manukura, Francis Douglas and Pukekohe.   The second day started with a close quarterfinal win over hosts Sacred Heart, followed by a dominant win over Kings College in the semifinal.  The final was a classic encounter against old foes Rotorua.  An early converted try was soon matched by the opposition to go into the half at 7-7.  The score remained that way until the hooter, bringing on extra time and golden point.  Luke Ale, who was always dangerous sealed the victory, diving under the posts from a penalty, carrying with him 3 or 4 defenders. 
The victory was the first National Condor Championship for our Under 15s.  Luke and playmaker Taha Kemara both made the Tournament team.
