HBHS win Super 8 Cricket title

Welcome to 2019, and we begin our news with another Super 8 title win for our 1st XI Cricket team.  In ferociously hot conditions, our relatively young 1st XI team put away a much more experienced Tauranga Boys' College unit in a very tight final, with captain Kristian Clarke leading the way with bat and ball.  This is the seventh win in a row for our cricketers, which is an extraordinary winning streak, and we look forward to celebrating their win in our upcoming full school assembly, next Thursday 7 February at 11am in Gym 1.  Thanks and congratulations to our coaching and management team of Mr Chris Kuggeleijn and Mr Tim Aughton for their continued support of HBHS Cricket.
