HBHS win Super 8 Chess Competition

The HBHS Chess Team of Christopher Symon, Daniel Ng, Sivaram Manoharan and Krishan Deo have taken out the inaguaral Super 8 Chess Tournament, beating nearest rivals Palmerston North Boys' High School with a score of 24 from a possible 28.  It was a true team performance, with every member performing well, including two perfect 100% matches scored by Sivaram and Krishan.   Congratulations to the team on HBHS's latest Super 8 title win, and a special thanks to Teacher in Charge of Chess Mr Graham Nolan for his hard work and support of HBHS Chess.
