HBHS third in Year 9 and 10 Waimaths competition

Last night our Year 9 and 10 Mathematicians headed to Sacred Heart Girls' College to complete against 21 other schools in the region for the title of Waimaths champion.  The teams had 45 minutes to answer 20 mathematics questions, and the results were as follows:

Our Year 9 HBHS team (49 points) came third behind Waikato Diocesan in first with 53 points and St Peter's Cambridge second with 52 points.

The Year 10 HBHS team (48 points) also came third with Hillcrest first on 54 points and St John's College finishing second with 52 points.  Congratulations to our teams on their efforts.
