HBHS students win Oceania Karate Medals

HBHS Year 11 students Raukawa Jefferies and Liam Singer have won medals at the recent Oceania Karate Championships held in New Caledonia this past weekend.  It was an HBHS one-two, with Raukawa winning gold and Liam silver in the Kumite Under 70kg weight division, plus another gold for the boys in the Cadet Team Kumite event.  Congratulations once again to both Raukawa and Liam on this achievement and we look forward to celebrating with them on their return.
