HBHS cleans house in WaiMaths Competition

Last night HBHS played host to the WaiMaths Competition, run by the Waikato Maths Association, involving up to 180 students from all around the region.  Students compete in teams of three, and our HBHS Mathletes featured strongly in all year levels.  Teams have to complete 20 questions over 45 minutes, and the Year 9 team of Nathan Ludlow, Nathaneal Loy and Michael Lin finished in first place.  Our Year 10 team of Sulaiman Bahiss, Drishya Patel and Joshua Henderson finished second, and our Year 11 team of James-Hardy Rorimpandey, Aryan Gupta and Hamana Mahuika rounded off a very good evening by finishing in first place.  Well done to these boys and thank you to our Mathematics Faculty for organising and running such a successful event.
