HBHS clean house at the Waikato Teams Golf Competition

The HBHS Golf team sent 11 teams to compete in the Waikato Secondary Schools Teams Golf Day on Monday 6 May.  All year groups were covered and the competitors were a mix of serious and recreational players.  The champions on the day were Team 4, led by the Captain of Golf Dominic Letford (Year 13), and 3 members of the HBHS 1st XI Cricket team, Kristian Clarke (Year 13), Navjot Rai (Year 13) and Sam Sinclair (Year 13).  The team shot 63 and finished with a net score of 53.75.  We also claimed second place with Team 5 of Logan Madden (Year 13), Luke Meiklejohn (Year 13), Mitchell Stuthridge (Year 13), and Grayson Abraham (Year 13).  Team 1 of Anthony East (Year 12), Rhys Kleuskens (Year 12), Sam McArthur (Year 12) and Jacob Parker (Year 12) finished third,  and Team 9 with George Butcher (Year 13), Mason James (Year 13), Harry Russ (Year 12) and Bradley Gibson (Year 12) finished right behind them in fourth place.
