HBHS absolutely dominant at Zones Athletics Meet

Last Tuesday our Athletics team headed to Porritt Stadium and managed to return with almost every medal they were eligible for.  Our medal tally at the end of competition was 25 Gold, 20 Silver and 16 Bronze.

Our Intermediate Boys' relay team broke our own record and Ty Hilton broke the Intermediate Boys' 200m record.  We got the trifecta in the Intermediate Boys' 100m, the Intermediate Boys' 400, the Junior Boys' 1500, the Senior Boys' 110 Hurdles and the Senior Boys' Shot Put.

Our team head to Tauranga on the 24th of March to contest the Waikato Bay of Plenty Championships, and we look forward to reporting on their successes.
