HBHS Volunteers spread some Christmas Cheer
Last Saturday between the hours of 9 to 5pm, a dedicated team of HBHS volunteers, along with Community Fruit Hamilton and Tautoko volunteers created 125 Christmas Goodie boxes that will be donated to HBHS and local families in need and community food banks. The boxes contained treats generously donated by our school community along with baked goods such as chocolate chip cookies, afghans, peanut brittle, caramel corn and Christmas muffins. The HBHS team of Ms Shah, Mrs Bastion, Bradley Beuker (Year 12), Jonathon Eade (Year 12), Henry Yao (Year 10), Jared Cox (Year 10), Alex Carter (Year 10), Karl Stephens (Year 10) and Liam Jamieson (Year 10), along with their supporters would like to thank everyone who donated so generously so that people in need could enjoy a little something special over the Christmas break. 30 boxes will go to HBHS families and the rest to local families in need and food banks. Thanks also to the Technology Faculty for the use of the Food Tech room.
