HBHS Triathlon teams dominate in the Waikato Bay of Plenty Championships

At the end of last term, the HBHS Triathlon team took to the water and roads in the Waikato Bay of Plenty Championships, and our teams dominated in the Under 14 and Under 19 divisions.   In the Under 14 event, the team of Dominic Fawkner (swim), Kai Meiklejohn (bike) and Mathijs Wetzels (run) finished first and were followed by Adam Morgan (swim), Kallum Mardon (bike) and Joseph Morgan (run) in third place.  In the Under 19 competition, HBHS took out the top two places, with Danyon Hardie (swim), Patrick Dowd (bike) and Sam Cook (run) winning, and Ashe Wainui-Mackle (swim), Archie Martin (bike) and Noah Hanson (run) right behind them in second place.  Congratulations to these boys on such a strong performance, and thanks and congratulations to Teacher in Charge of Triathlon, Ms Erin Becht for her support of our team.
