HBHS Triathletes in the Medals at WBOP Triathlon Championships

Last Tuesday a small but determined team of HBHS Triathletes headed off to Lake Karapiro to compete in the Waikato Bay of Plenty Individual Triathlon competition, held in very dry and hot conditions. The team (pictured with their medals at right) performed very well in all of the age group categories. In the Under 14 event, Timothy Ng was first and Samuel Cook came in second, and it was a one-two finish in the Under 16 event, with Bradley Cullen taking the gold and Oliver Ng the silver medal. Finally, in the Under 19 event, Leon Arcus came away with the silver medal. Congratulations to these boys on their efforts, and thanks and congratulations to Teacher in Charge of Triathlon, Ms Nicola Bryant, for her continued support of HBHS Multisport.
