HBHS Tennis Team win titles at the Waikato Championships
Yesterday the Waikato Secondary School Tennis Championships were held at the Dey Street Tennis Centre and our team came away with four provincial titles. In the Junior Boys competition, Anton Shepp took the title and Liam Barry finished third, and Sebastian Kerr and Cole Northcott won the doubles with Lachlan Roose and Philip Warren finishing as runners-up. At Intermediate level, Jack Portegys won the title with Trae Innes finishing third, and it was another one-two for HBHS in the doubles, with Nicholas Goodman and Harry Peploe beating Ben Couper and Cameron Main in the final. Congratulations to all of these boys on their efforts and to Teacher in Charge Mr Mike Erceg for all of his work in supporting what is proving to be a very strong HBHS Tennis team.
