HBHS Sports Update
HBHS 1st XI Hockey team won the Waikato Secondary Schools Championship against Hauraki Plains College, with a final score of 2 – 1. The score was 2 – 0 to Boys’ High at half time, reflected a good match. At times, it looked as though the game may be a run-away, but Hauraki rallied in the second half, disrupted the Boys’ High attack and limited their opportunities to score.
Priddey Represents NZ
Jacob Priddey finished tenth overall in the U18 race, but was seventh in the Australian Schools Championships. He was the second 16 year old home. The New Zealand team were third in the relay today for the U18 relay champs.
