HBHS Spelling Bee Semi-finalists

The following HBHS students have made the New Zealand Spelling Bee Semi-Finals, sponsored by The Wright Family Foundation.  We congratulate Ethan Hight, Carl Stephens, Rhys Peddie, Liam Henderson, Tanveer Billing, Ravihash Prasad, Samuel Fraser, Rajat Khokhar, Isaac Campbell, Finlay Buckell, Jackson Keightley and Caleb Thomas.  These students will compete in the Central North Island Regional Final in Hamilton on August 9 at the Meteor Theatre and we wish them the very best of luck.  Making the semi-finals puts them amongst the top 200 entrants in the competition from over 100 schools around New Zealand, and we congratulate them once more on their efforts.
