HBHS Shooters secure podium finish at Tauranga Shoot

The HBHS Clay Target teams competed in their  last circuit event of the season at Tauranga last week.  Thirty teams from around the Waikato, Bay Of Plenty and Auckland converged on the Tauranga gun club where the HBHS A team shot off for second and third place after tying during the teams event with the hosts Tauranga Boys' College.  the HBHS A team  held their composure well, shooting 71/75 points score in the shoot off to secure second place. 

The team is in full preparation mode leading up to the North Island Championships and New Zealand Secondary School Championships to be held in the first weekend of the October holidays.  Several of the boys will be shooting this weekend at the Waikato Provincial Championships where they are hoping to medal in as many disciplines and categories as possible.  We wish them all the very best in this.
