HBHS Senior Touch Team win Zone 3 Competition

The HBHS Touch team have taken out the Zone 3 Competition this weekend, beating perennial rivals Rotorua Boys' High School in a very tight finals match.  The team progressed easily through the early rounds, beating Whakatane High School 8 - 2 and Tokoroa High School 10 - 0.  The semi-final against Trident High School was won 12 - 2 by HBHS in similar fashion, but the final was a very different affair.  HBHS finally came away with the win over Rotorua Boys' High School in a drop-off to take the tournament 8 - 7.  This is an important step in our team's quest to regain the title which is currently held by the Rotorua side.  Congratulations to the team on their result.
