HBHS Old Boys Named in Junior Black Sticks Squad

The Hockey Junior Men's Black Sticks squad was announced recently in preparation for the upcoming Junior World Cup in India, and of the squad, four were HBHS Old Boys.  Congratulations to Jonty Keaney, Leo Mitai-Wells, Aidan Sarikaya and Nic Woods on being selected as New Zealand Representatives.  The final squad will be chosen after the Ford National Hockey League and training blocks in October and November.  The Men's squad will attend a training camp prior to the national league from which a team will be selected for the Sultan of Johor Cup in October, heading into the World Cup in December.  We wish all of our Old Boys every success in what looks like a very busy year of competition.
