HBHS NZ Rugby Reps Perform Well
1st XV Captain, Nick Ross (lock), Fraser Armstrong (tight head prop), and Adam Burn (No 8) took the field with the New Zealand Secondary Schools team in Dunedin against Australia last Wednesday. All three players started, and played what was a very tight game between two really talented teams. The final result was 30-21 to New Zealand. To the seasoned observer, the boys all looked as though they had particularly good games. Playing well at this level shows that they are competitive for higher honours in the future. They can now each realistically hope for a place on the Under 20 New Zealand side for the World Cup in 2011. We wish Nick, Fraser and Adam well in their endeavours.
