HBHS Golfers finish behind St Peter's in Waikato Secondary Schools Competition

The HBHS Number 1 team will have to settle for finishing second behind St Peter's School Cambridge, who were simply too strong on the day.  Isaac Butcher (pictured) led the HBHS challenge with a round of 73, which was our lowest score of the day, and was five shots behind the overall winner Charlie Smail, who is the son of one of HBHS's most famous golfing Old Boys, David Smail.  The HBHS Number 3 team can be very proud of their efforts yesterday as well as excellent performances by Samat Wattanasuwan (Year 11) and Max Gabolinscy (Year 12) helped them to finish fourth in the Waikato.  Thanks to Teacher in Charge of Golf, Mr Brendon Cooley, for this update.
