HBHS Father/Son Breakfast, 2012
HBHS was proud to host the Waikato Chiefs at our recent Father/Son breakfast. The Master of Ceremonies, Brodi McCurran ensured that the event flowed smoothly, as Juan Robertson (Head Prefect) and Mrs Hassall welcomed hundreds of students, Old Boys, family members and role models. Solomone Tukuafu blessed the food, and Rawiri Kapa-Hakeney played a guitar solo ‘For my Father’ while his proud dad, Stuart Hakeney (Deputy Principal) looked on. Breakfast was served by the 1st XV and Senior Prefects, while a further musical item was performed by Penisimani Fotu, Patrick Momisea, Ben Finau and Paula Tu-uholoaki.
Questions and answers for the Chiefs were fielded by Isaac Te Tamaki, and a vote of thanks was offered by Nigel Hotham (Deputy Principal) and Regan Ware. A number of autographs were collected as the breakfast continued, and many very happy young and more mature gentlemen were photographed before the morning was over.
We would like to thank Blakes High Company and Kerr and Ladbrook Catering for supporting this event.
