HBHS Christchurch Earthquake Appeal
HBHS have committed over $10,000.00 to a Linwood College Trust, designed to be ‘drip-fed’ into this devastated decile 2 Christchurch high school as the need arises. The Service Committee is very pleased to report the success of the following fundraising activities:
Run for Christchurch $7,573.23
Christchurch Mufti $1,000.00
Coin Trail (Athletics) $1,434.70
P.T.A. Dr Rich Allen Lecture $502.40
Private Tutorial Donation $160.00
Total Fundraising for Linwood: $10,670.33
Linwood College’s 1100 students are currently sharing the 1700 pupil Cashmere High School campus, while decisions are made about reconstruction and redeployment in the wake of the April 22 earthquake.
