HBHS 2nd XV Red Team win Chiefs Trophy
In weather that could politely be described as dire, the HBHS 2nd XV Red team travelled over the Bombay Hills last Saturday to take on Rosehill College to decide the Chiefs Trophy for 2015 and came away with an excellent 36 - 8 win. HBHS outscored the home side 6 tries to 1, with Caleb Wallbank, Morgan Harper, Shaquille Sue-Waara, Kieran Lee, Keaton Rangi and Karney Dunstar each crossing the line, and Raiki Willison converted three of the six. The half time score was 19 - 3. Congratulations to the team on a impressive win in very testing conditions and thanks and congratulations to coaches Mr Andrew Hay and Matua Mita Graham. The team heads back up north tomorrow to take part in the annual Auckland Grammar exchange and we will post scores and results as soon as they come to hand.
