HBHS 2nd XV Black Rugby Team to contest Waikato Division 1 1st XV Final

Last year, as the Mighty Third XV, the HBHS 2nd XV Black team made school history by winning the Ian Foster Shield as Waikato Division 1 1st XV Champions for the first time ever, and they will be defending this title on Saturday, in an action replay of last year's finals match against Cambridge, in Cambridge at 12pm.  The Cambridge High School 1st XV come into the match on the back of a huge 60 point semi-final demolition of Morrinsville College 1st XV, whereas the HBHS 2nd XV Black team had a much tougher contest against St John's College 1st XV, eventually winning 15 - 8 after St John's staged a big come-back in the second half.  Either way, the stage is set for a mighty contest, with each team having the title and the Tricolor to play for and plenty to prove.  The HBHS team will welcome any support, as it was so important to us last year, and we look forward to seeing you all on the sideline this Saturday!
