HBHS 1st XV win Chiefs Cup 47 - 0!

In what Sky TV called a "clinical" display, the HBHS 1st XV have won the Chiefs Cup Final 47 - 0 over Rotorua Boys' High School 1st XV. The match was still up for grabs at half time with the score at 16 - 0 thanks to a try by Caleb Korteweg and some precision kicking by Bryn Gatland, but HBHS ran away with it in the second half, with Raukawa Neems continuing his run of form and scoring two tries, which Player of the Match Bryn Gatland duly converted. Substitute forward Jarrod Gwynne was the next HBHS player to score, with a final try under the posts added by Mikaere Beattie. Both of these tries were also converted by Gatland, who added another penalty kick early in the second half. The HBHS 1st XV would like to thank all of their supporters, Sky Television, and their sponsors Heartland Bank, Jacanna Customs and Freight, Lodge Real Estate and Pacific Auto Carrier. A detailed match report will follow on both the website and in the Term 2 High Achiever. Congratulations team!
