HBHS 1st XV To Defend National Title

After a nail-biting finish, Hamilton Boys' High School won their game against Gisborne High School this afternoon, and will play in the National final at 2.00pm tomorrow in Rotorua.  The final score was 19 - 17, and a failed Gisborne penalty attempt in the last five minutes of the game meant that spectators were on the edges of their seats until the final whistle. Kirtis McNaughten, Josh Fa'agalu and Isaako Peato-Lister scored tries and Josh Smith added two conversions in this near-run contest.

We look forward to letting you know the outcome of tomorrow's game against Mount Albert Grammar as promptly as possible.  If HBHS win, they will retain the right to defend their World title in Japan next year.
